Self-Builders

How can self-builders use renewable energy?

Self-builders can significantly enhance the sustainability of their projects by incorporating renewable energy solutions. One effective approach is to install solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, which can harness sunlight to generate electricity, reducing reliance on grid power and potentially lowering energy bills. Additionally, integrating heat pumps can provide hot water, making homes more energy-efficient.

By carefully planning and investing in these renewable energy technologies, self-builders can create eco-friendly homes that align with sustainable living principles, significantly reducing their carbon footprint and contributing to a greener future.

How we work with self-builders

Similar to the work we do with architects, we work on projects with self-builders. The sooner we get involved with the projects the better, in order for us to help to integrate everything seamlessly. We choose the right technology, seamlessly integrated, many homeowners choose to do things themselves, digging trenches for Ground Source Heat Pumps. Some customers even install their own under floor heating pipes and MVHR ductwork. We are happy to work in collaboration with self-builders to design and build an energy efficient home in-line with their overall vision and budget.
